About Role:

We are looking for a Public Relations Manager (PRM) Officer to organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media and the public in GCC region.
As a PR Officer, you should be an organized and cool-tempered professional who is able to handle a crisis. We expect you to have a creative mind and excellent communication skills. If you are also confident in your public speaking and project management abilities, we'd like to meet you.

Reports to

Associate Director, PR

Responsibilities

Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies in GCC Region;
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing) and maintain open communication with senior management;
Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.);
Prepare and distribute press releases;
Organize PR events (e.g. open days, press conferences) and serve as the company's spokesperson;
Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising;
Address inquiries from the media and other parties;
Track media coverage and follow industry trends;
Prepare and submit PR reports;
Manage PR issues.

General Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in PR role;
BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field;
Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print);
Background in researching, writing and editing publications;
Proficient in MS Office and social media;
Familiarity with project management software and video/photo editing is a plus;
Strong communication ability (oral and written);
Excellent organizational skills;
Ability to work well under pressure;
Creativity and problem-solving aptitude;
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines;
Understand business priorities, anticipate business needs and plan for the future;
Effective communicator both orally and in writing English and Arabic;

About the Role

Insilico Medicine, a leading company in artificial intelligence for drug discovery, is expanding its reach into the application of artificial intelligence in non-pharmaceutical chemistry: materials science, chemical processes, catalysis, etc. By working with industrial partners in Saudi Arabia on existing projects in in the field of creating new materials, the company is hiring new employees to solve problems on current projects and develop a new product in the field of using artificial intelligence technologies to solve various problems in materials science.

Reports to

Responsibilities:

Deep data analysis, searching hidden patterns and correlations
Adaptation of existing and creation of new predictive classification and regression models in the field of physical and chemical properties of materials and processes
Common research with the chemical team for the interpretability of the developing models
Adaptation of existing and creation of new GAN models for predicting new materials, fine-tuning model parameters based on validation results
Preparation of all interim and final reports and documents in accordance with approved standards
Mentoring junior team members
Participation in ML research of the company in various other areas.

General Requirements:

3+ years of experience in DataScience and ML
Deep understanding of the architecture of neural networks down to the level of individual nodes (GAN, transformers)
Python ML (Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc) & DS libraries, SQL, git, ssh, bash, make
Experience in geometric ML (graphs, point clouds), especially Graph Neural Networks
Experience in tabular ML and featurization tasks
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Mentoring experience
Spoken English, experience in creating presentations and writing scientific reports

Optional Requirements:

Higher education in chemistry
C++, RDKit, open babel, Docker, AWS, testing systems
Experience in data analysis and model building in chemistry/computational chemistry/quantum computing/chemo informatics/drug design

About the Role

Responsibilities:

Creation of presentations and presentation of interim and milestone reports for customers
Business trips within the Gulf countries
Development of work schedules, monitoring of internal research
Preparation of all interim and final reports and documents in accordance with approved standards
Coordination of the work of various research groups within the framework of one project
Communication with external contract organizations responsible for experiments on the chemical synthesis of new materials and their testing
Deep dive into the development of new adsorbents and catalysts
Validation of the obtained internal computational results
Active participation in the development of new projects and directions in the field of non-pharmaceutical artificial intelligence

General Requirements:

I. Education

PhD in Computational Chemistry or ML/AI in Chemistry or Heterogeneous Catalysis or Materials Science

II. Experience and Skills

Experience in a position that involves communicating with clients and presenting results to them, from 2-3 years
Skills in preparing MS Office presentations and oral/online presentations; · Effective communicator both orally and in writing English
More than 5 years of experience in searching, reading and systematizing scientific literature: articles, patents, monographs
Basic knowledge of Data Science methods
Experience in using Data Science tools: Python notebooks, web applications, databases
Experience in using machine learning models to solve chemical problems
Knowledge of methods of computer modelling from first principles (ab initio methods, molecular mechanics, solid state modelling)
Knowledge of physical chemistry to describe adsorption processes and heterogeneous catalysis
Identifying issues and presenting potential solutions
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Understand business priorities, anticipate business needs and plan for the future
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team successfully

II. Experience and Skills

5+ years of experience in software development
Experience in team management
Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying software applications that leverage machine learning, data processing, or big data technologies
Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, including the specific stages of the ML model and data lifecycle from inception to deployment and maintenance
Experience with the Torch ecosystem or other python libraries for deep learning
Strong familiarity with Python scientific libraries including NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with coding standards and best practices of code reviews, using version control systems like Git/GitLab, and implementing robust CI/CD processes.
